Fall 2010 Late Registration
Registration for the Fall soccer season (August - November) is over. Late registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis as long as there is available space on a team as determined by the division coordinators. To register now:
- Via email, contact the Division Coordinator to ask if there is space available and, if so, their address so you can drop off or mail your registration forms and payment. Division Coordinator email addresses can be found on the Contact Us page of this website.
- Assuming the Coordinator accepts your registration, proceed to pre-register online at eayso.org. Carefully follow the steps below. If you're having trouble with the eAYSO database, you can contact eaysosupport@ayso.org or 866-588-2976 Mon-Sat, 10am-7pm for help.
- Fees, including the late charge, are $120 for the first player from a family. If you sign up more than 2 children from the same family, the additional players beyond 2 are only $90 each.
- Following the directions below, print the registration forms and proof of payment (or include a check) and forward them to the appropriate division coordinator.
To make sure you register correctly, please CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW.
Please fill out the on-line player forms COMPLETELY
- Consider how you can volunteer.
AYSO is an all-volunteer organization. Consider how you can volunteer to help our region succeed. We need a coach, assistant coach, referee, assistant referee, and team parent for every team. Our volunteers needed page shows other volunteer positions we need to fill. - Pre-Register on our Web site (PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS before you begin.) Complete the following steps accurately at eayso.org : If you're having trouble with the eAYSO database, you can contact eaysosupport@ayso.org or 866-588-2976 Mon-Sat, 10am-7pm for help.
- Volunteer information
Either "Apply as a new volunteer" if you've never filled out the AYSO form or "Apply as a continuing volunteer" if you have in previous years. Be aware that adult volunteers are required to enter confidential information and information about references (we need this to ensure we're protecting our children). - Player information
Select either "Application for a new player" or "Application for a returning player" depending on whether you have registered your child in eAYSO before, then enter all required information, plus at least one valid e-mail address, as we use this heavily for communications (you won't get important updates unless you do this). You can skip uniform size. Please make sure all information on the player’s form is updated. At the end of the form the system will take you back to the main menu where you can pay on-line (we also take checks) and/or print the forms. - Pay – for credit card payment, select "Online payments" and follow the prompts, then print the receipt. Or you can write a check to OPAYSO. Fees, including the late charge, are $120 for the first player from a family. If you sign up more than 2 children from the same family, the additional players beyond 2 are only $90 each.
- Print the forms (one copy for players forms, two for volunteer forms)
Back at the main menu select "Print player form", then select the correct player. Do NOT print using your browser print button - instead click on the printer icon in the player form itself below the words "Print Form" and next to the word "Export". If you are paying by credit card, be sure to print after paying. Review the forms for accuracy after printing. If no e-mail address appears on every player’s form, make sure you go back on-line (go to “Update player information” in the main menu) and enter one and then reprint the form. Print and sign one copy of the player registration form for each player and two copies of the volunteer forms.
- Volunteer information
- Hand write the School Grade the player will be in during the soccer season on the top of each player’s registration form. If the current school is Julian or Brooks, also hand-write the former primary school.
- Verify the Player’s Division Please check that the Division the player has been assigned to by the computer is the one in which you want the player to play. Unless otherwise requested and regardless of birthdate, we will put the child in the division with his/her classmates.
We generally split into separate boys and girls divisions based on the School Grade as follows:- U8 = First and Second Grade
- U10 = Third and Fourth Grade
- U12 = Fifth and Sixth Grade
- U14 = Seventh and Eighth Grade
- U16-19 = High School (Co-ed Division)(some games played in Hyde Park, Elmhurst, and other towns)
- Make note of the Division Coordinator’s approval and/or copy the registrars on the approval email stream, hand write the date of approval of the Division Coordinator for late registration on the paperwork, and mail or drop off the papers at:
