Volunteers
All volunteers are invited to attend our board meetings. At these meetings you can find out what is going on in the administration of Oak Park AYSO. The next meeting will take place in September; details to be announced later.
We can always use more volunteers. See the volunteers needed for what's currently needed. We have job descriptions for certain positions.
Most volunteers (division coordinators, coaches, referees, board members, data entry people) need to register in eAYSO following the volunteer registration instructions on the Join Us page.
Referees and Coaches need to be Safe Haven certified. It is quick and easy to do:
- Register in eAYSO following the volunteer registration instructions on the Join Us page
- After the CVPA processes your registration, obtain your 8-digit AYSO volunteer ID number by logging in to eAYSO, then pressing the AYSO Volunteers button, then the Click Here button next to "Current volunteer(s):See AYSO ID # or Update my contact information".
- complete the appropriate Safe Haven AYSO Online Certification and Training
We've started to put together a calendar showing all the tasks all various volunteers need to do throughout the year.
The next annual Section 6 conference will be held at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort, February 27 - March 1, 2009. This is a great conference for all volunteers. At the conference you can learn how to make the volunteer job better, easier and more enjoyable. Attending this is a great way to find out how to improve our region so our players get the best possible soccer experience.
How to accomplish certain volunteer tasks in eAYSO
- Form teams
- Ratings

- Division coordinators may want to experiment with the reports available from Reports -> Team, like LineUp Form, Roster Book, Team Rating Worksheet, and Team Summary Report.
